These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Discord bot "Stellarix" and its companion web dashboard (together, "the Service"), provided by melty ("we", "us", "the operator"). By adding the Service to a Discord server, or by logging into the web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
The Service is provided free of charge to Discord servers and includes:
- X/Steam link embedding
- Verification panels with automatic role assignment
- Automatic voice channel creation and management ("voice hubs")
- Moderation support (ban, kick, channel lockdown)
- Member counters
- Recruitment (sign-up) forms
- A web dashboard for viewing and editing the settings above
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, public order and morals, or Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Deliberately probe for or exploit vulnerabilities in the Service (if you discover an issue, please report it responsibly via our Support page instead of exploiting it)
- Place excessive load on the Service's bot or API beyond normal use (for example, command spamming)
- Redistribute or modify the Service and offer it to third parties as if it were your own
- Harass or impersonate other users, or misuse verification or moderation features to gain unauthorized permissions
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service in order to probe for vulnerabilities outside of its own source (for example, in Discord itself)
3. Accounts and Permissions
- Using the web dashboard requires logging in with a Discord account.
- You can only manage settings for a server on the dashboard if you hold the "Manage Server" permission on that server in Discord, and the Service is already installed there.
- Server administrators who enable features that affect their members (verification, role assignment, moderation, etc.) are responsible for informing their members as appropriate.
4. Changes, Interruption, and Termination
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
- The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
- The Service is provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including malfunctions, loss of configuration data, or moderation actions taken through the Service — except where such damages result from our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- We are not responsible for moderation actions (bans, kicks, channel lockdowns, etc.) carried out by server members who hold the permissions needed to trigger them, nor for their consequences.
- We are not responsible for any malfunction or unavailability caused by third-party services or APIs the Service depends on, including Discord Inc.'s own services.
6. Intellectual Property
The source code, design, and related rights in the Service belong to the operator. The Discord name and logo are trademarks of Discord Inc.

8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
